Recent legislation, designed to protect all of us as consumers, has imposed strict requirements on the acquisition of personal credit information, which severely limits anyone's access to personal credit information.

However, sometimes it's essential for you to have access to reliable and current consumer credit information. With "permissible purpose" and the proper authorizations from your customer, NACM Business Credit Services is here to help you make confident credit-extension decision by offering several options for your consumer credit reporting needs. It can be a frightening and intimidating process to get qualified to access consumer credit information, but with NACM Southwest to help and guide you in getting set up to do so in full compliance of state and federal laws, we'll get you set up in no time.

Experian

If you are already familiar with Experian's popular products such as the Business Profile report, Intelliscore Plus or Premier Profile, the Business Owner Profile (BOP) (see a sample) may be the right choice. The BOP is a credit report drawn from the Experian consumer credit database and used in conjunction with the Business Profile Report (BPR), allowing you to determine the principal's creditworthiness in order to extend credit. This report may be ordered by itself or in combo with any other report Experian offers, so long as all prequalifications are met for obtaining consumer credit information and the proper permissions are obtained from your customer.

OneCreditSource

NACM Southwest's partner, OneCredit Source provides consumer credit reports from all three bureaus - Experian, Equifax & Transunion. OneCreditSource is a nationally recognized company providing consumer reports, tenant screening and employment screening reports, which all utilize personal credit information. (Some states do not allow pre-employment credit checks).

(All consumer credit report products require separate setup processes and fees to conform to consumer reporting laws and regulations, and there are no exceptions. A required fee for a business inspection is built into the setup fee for each of these products.)
